Teen Summer Programs

Camp Luther offers two opportunities for teens during the summer.

Teen Camp

Teen Camp is an opportunity for teens to grow stronger in their faith, build friendships with others their age and to enjoy new and favorite summer camp activities.

  • Our teen activities change each year based on the feedback we receive from participants and families.

For 2026, our goal is to provide a blend of activities at Camp Luther and off-site.

Our hope for 2026 is to include a day floating down the river, a day visiting a partner camp that has a zip-line and a pool, and a day at Camp experiencing our new challenge course.

These plans are not yet confirmed, and options may change based on the schedules of our partners and vendors.

Our goal is to provide opportunities for teens to unplug from their jobs and phones, to interact with other teens face to face, and to grow stronger as individuals in a Christ-centered community.

  • Camp Luther does not run our Niobrara River Trip every year.

This is in part from feedback we receive from our teens. They love the experience, but attending the same trip multiple years in a row tends to take away from the excitement. This trip can also be a challenge for teens who are hesitant or prefer not to attend an experience where they live in tents and cook outdoors for a week.

By rotating our activity options, we can provide meaningful experiences to teens while encouraging former campers to return, and new campers who may hesitate about one type of camp experience to try some of our other options.

Our Niobrara River trip will return, just not this year.

Future Leaders & Buddies

Our Future Leaders volunteer for 1-3 weeks of summer camp. They serve our campers, practice leadership with our campers, and learn skills that translate to future careers working with youth or serving in ministry.
