Caleb Jala’s Story
Camp Luther is a mountaintop faith experience every time.
God has shaped, developed, and deepened my faith the most while at camp. As a camper, I watched my counselors get excited about faith which made me excited about faith. I remember sitting around the campfire at Cornerstone singing "One Name" and experiencing the majesty, power, and peace of God. Camp is the perfect atmosphere to inspire and strengthen campers, volunteers, and staff members in unexpected and meaningful ways. The nourishment of nature, the joy of children and peers, and the servant leadership on display create and renew disciples magically. The Spirit of God is palpable, and each nook of camp holds decades of memories.
Camp was where the Spirit formed my faith, and I can't express my gratitude enough for being able to continue that legacy.
