Camp Luther Weekend

When: Saturday, June 6, 2026 – Check-In Starts @ 9:00 AM - Race Starts @ 10:15 AM | Where: Across the 160 Acres of Camp Luther of Nebraska

Rally your friends, family, and church group and get ready for a morning of color, joy, and Christ-centered community! Camp Luther’s 2nd Annual 5K Color Fun Run, during Camp Luther’s Annual Camp Luther Weekend (June 5-7, 2026), is your chance to experience the beauty of camp in a whole new way—every trail, field, and turn bursting with energy, laughter, and bright splashes of color. Whether you run, jog, or walk, every step supports the ministries that share Christ, nurture faith, and transform lives all year long. So rally your crew, grab your white apparel & sunglasses/goggles, and join us for a run where fellowship and mission meet—you won’t want to miss it!

5K Registration

  • Check In begins at 9:00 A.M in Gerwick Hall. and goes until 10:00, with a 15 minute final call and warm up time until 10:15 A.M., which is when the race truly begins.

    Lunch will be provided immediately after the race for participants of the 5K free of charge, with a $12.00 charge for those who didn’t participate in the 5K.

  • To maximize the visual appeal of the different colored powders you will be running through, try to wear as many white clothing pieces as possible; shirts, shorts, socks, etc.

    (For those who registered prior to May 16th, 2026, your Custom T-Shirt will be available for pickup during Check-In to wear during the race!)

    Also, to be safe, please bring sunglasses or goggles to keep the colored powder from getting in your eyes.

    There will also be showers and a place to change for racing participants to stay and enjoy the rest of Camp Luther Weekend’s thrilling activities, so please bring a change of clothes, a towel, and shower utensils!

  • When you register by May 16th, 2026, not only are you guaranteed a shirt that is in the exact size you want, but you also ensure Camp Luther has enough resources to supply runners with water bottles, that there’s enough colored powder to cover every participant, and that there’s plenty of snacks and Lunch for everyone involved.

    However, if you haven’t registered yet and still want to join, you can still register online until the day before (Friday, June 5th), and you can simply walk up and register the day of the 5K (Saturday, June 6th).
