Facility Upgrades Matching Fund Drive
Matching Gift to Complete the Work
Over the past four years staff, volunteers, congregations, and donors have assisted in restoring our aging facilities. Many of the projects have been completed, but we need your help to get across the finish line. To assist Camp Luther in completing our current restoration work, The Rupert Dunklau Foundation has committed up to $20,000 in matching funds. What does this mean? If you donate to Camp Luther for this project, your donation will be doubled until we reach the $20,000 providing a total of $40,000 to complete the projects listed below.
Hail damage provides funding but exposes hidden issues
In the fall of 2017, a hail storm damaged the majority of buildings at Camp Luther. Most of the damage was to roofs, siding, lights, windows, and paint. Roof replacement and the majority of siding and painting are complete. While working on buildings, other issues were identified and are now added to the list to restore Camp Luther. Completing these projects will provide a safe and energy efficient facility for our campers to enjoy.
