VOLUNTEER

We have many ways for you to volunteer at Camp Luther, any time of the year! If you don't see what you're looking for below, or if you have questions, please email us at campluther@campluther.org or call 402-352-5655.

Future Leader Square.png

Our Future Leader (FuLe) program is geared toward equipping and preparing high school students for servant leadership at camp and in their communities. Cost is $50 per week of service--the opportunities for ministry, growth, and service are priceless! Responsibilities include helping lead games, songs, and activities, cleaning, kitchen patrol, and sharing Christ with campers.

POW Square (1).png

The Pastor of the Week program is a great opportunity to serve campers and staff while enjoying a week of camp. Responsibilities include leading chapel/campfire devotions for kids, leading Bible study for our college-aged summer staff, and joining in games, activities, and meals to help build Christ-centered relationships. Come yourself, or bring your family!

His Kids Buddies Square (1).png

You can register yourself or a group to volunteer for our His Kids camp for people with special needs! Each of our campers is paired with a volunteer "buddy" to ensure that they have an awesome time learning about Jesus and taking part in all our great outdoor activities! We train volunteers the evening before campers arrive, so no prior experience is necessary--just a love for God and others.

Service Projects Square (1).png

We have a long running list of individual and group service projects that need doing on camp! Please prayerfully consider funding a service project, working it, or both! Whether you'd like to volunteer your own time and talents, organize a group servant event, or help with purchasing supplies, we'd love to have your partnership in helping make camp the best it can be!

Nurse of the Week Square.png

We have retreats and camps throughout the year where it is important to have a trained professional to help keep campers and guests safe and healthy. Responsibilities include collecting and dispensing camper meds and giving any needed medical attention to campers and staff. While our staff is CPR and First Aid trained, having a nurse/medic around as well is an incredible blessing!

Groundskeeping Square.png

With 160 acres of land, there is a lot of groundskeeping to keep up with! If you have an interest in lawn-mowing, tree-trimming, weed-whacking, or other similar activities, and would like to donate some of your time to help improve camp, please consider joining our team of volunteers. We'll place you on our contact list and let you know when there is work to be done.
